Learn the art of floral arranging using traditional floristry concepts & techniques. This workshop will enable participants to prepare and style their floral arrangements which can be used for a variety of occasions such as dinner parties, festivals, gifting or simply as interior decoration centrepieces!
This workshop is specifically designed for you to get hands-on training in floral arranging.

AGE: 16+ (Age 12-15 please check prior to enrolling)
PRICE: $ 199
PREREQUISITE: No prior experience in floristry required. All workshop material, flowers, foliage, aprons, etc are provided.
WORKSHOP TAKEAWAY: A Floristry Handbook & your Floral arrangements. During the workshop you will have 2 arrangements to transport home, please consider this when organising transport.
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
- Introduction to flower identification and preparation techniques
- Learn flower maintenance techniques and how to extend the life and quality of your arrangement
- Introduction to the principles and elements of design
- How to use a mixture of flowers and foliage which are widely available and used by floral designers
- Learn about focal flowers, secondary flowers, filler flowers, and foliage in seasonal varieties
- Hands on work where you explore different concepts & techniques and find your own personal style
- Floristry tips & tricks
You will learn and create 2 floral arrangements:
- Elegant Table Centrepiece
- Spiral Stem Posy (in a vase)
This is a basic to intermediate workshop and is for self improvement only. Audio and Visual recordings are strictly prohibited. Bookings are essential and 100% in advance. Limited seats per batch. Upon booking, we will send you a confirmation of enrolment which will include all workshop details.
Cancellation Policy:
A full refund is only applicable if cancellation occurs three (3) weeks prior to the date of the workshop/program. Refunds are not made after the three (3) week period. If due to unforeseen circumstances, the participant is unable to attend the course, we can however offer the participant a place in one of the upcoming batches depending on availability closer to date along with a transfer fee of $79. We do not hold responsibility for no show and cannot guarantee a slot in the future batches. Participants withdrawing after the workshop/program has commenced are not entitled to a refund. In case of unforeseen circumstances for companies/organisations wanting to cancel the program/workshop, a refund is only applicable prior to 3 weeks to the date of the workshop/program. Alternatively in case of rescheduling the date, a request must be submitted in writing a minimum of 10 days prior to the date of the workshop/program.
